Aftermath of the Altadena-Eaton Canyon fire and the massive environmental cleanup that has been launched to rebuild communities. We will be closely following actions of the House and the Senate as they work to add Congressional legislation to supplement the local and state efforts. Worked in reference to the FY27 Energy and Water Appropriations bill to include funding for Federal efforts to address the aftermath of the Eaton Canyon fire and how some of these funds could be sent to cities in the San Gabriel Valley. The funding would be for protection of the local aquifers from post-fire damage. The bill numbers nd Report numbers have not yet been assisnyrf but this wil be done in June, 2026.
