Consolidates and makes uniform standards for wearing protective headgear for children under 16 years of age when riding or using a bicycle, electric assisted bicycle, motor assisted scooter, powered micromobility device and certain nonmotorized vehicles. Provides that a person [<i>12</i>]<b> 14</b> years of age or older can use a [<i>motor assisted scooter or</i>] Class 1 [<i>or Class 2</i>] electric assisted bicycle.<b> Provides that a person 16 years of age or older can use a Class 2 or Class 3 electric assisted bicycle.</b> Directs the Department of Transportation to undertake a public information campaign to inform the public about the changes to the law<b> and develop a safety education program</b>.
