Digest: The Act says a person can ask ODOT to add a note on their driver license, permit or ID card. The note will let police officers know that the person has a disability that makes it hard to communicate with the officer. To do this, the person will need to fill out a form and get a doctor or other listed health professional to confirm the disability. (Flesch Readability Score: 61.6).
