                                     AN ACT
 1   Amending the act of December 22, 1983 (P.L.306, No.84), entitled
 2      "An act providing for the State Board of Vehicle
 3      Manufacturers, Dealers and Salespersons; and providing
 4      penalties," in preliminary provisions, further providing for
 5      definitions.
 6      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 7   hereby enacts as follows:
 8      Section 1.    The definition of "vehicle" in section 102 of the
 9   act of December 22, 1983 (P.L.306, No.84), known as the Board of
10   Vehicles Act, is amended to read:
11   Section 102.    Definitions.
12      The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
13   have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
14   context clearly indicates otherwise:

16      "Vehicle."
17          (1)     Every device which is or may be moved or drawn upon
18      a highway, except devices which are infrequently operated or
19      moved upon a highway but are designed primarily for use in
20      construction or agriculture or road maintenance, devices
1     moved by human or animal power, devices used exclusively upon
2     rails or tracks, motorized pedalcycles and mobility vehicles.
3         (2)   For purposes of sections 307, 307.1, 308, 309, 310,
4     311, 312, 313, 314, 315, 316, 317, 318 and 326, the term does
5     not include a trailer, regardless of its gross vehicle
6     weight, that is not a recreational vehicle.

8     Section 2.    This act shall take effect in 60 days.
