     REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION, JUNE 11, 2025


                                    AN ACT
 1   Providing for the abrogation of regulations relating to the
 2      Pennsylvania Heavy-Duty Diesel Emissions Control Program and
 3      for the applicability of Federal standards.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6   Section 1.   Short title.
 7      This act shall be known and may be cited as the Abrogation of
 8   Heavy-Duty Diesel Emissions Control Program Regulations Act.
 9   Section 2.   Abrogation of regulations.
10      The provisions of 25 Pa. Code Ch. 126 Subch. E (relating to
11   Pennsylvania Heavy-Duty Diesel Emissions Control Program) are
12   abrogated.
13   Section 3.   Federal standards.
14      As a result of the abrogation under section 2, the Federal
15   standards for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and engines shall apply
16   in this Commonwealth.
17   Section 4.   Effective date.
1     This act shall take effect immediately.
