                                     AN ACT
 1   Designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 25405, carrying
 2      Pennsylvania Route 346 over Willow Creek in Corydon Township,
 3      McKean County, as the Private First Class Bruce A. Cobb
 4      Memorial Bridge; and making a repeal.
 5      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 6   hereby enacts as follows:
 7   Section 1.     Private First Class Bruce A. Cobb Memorial Bridge.
 8      (a)     Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
 9   follows:
10            (1)   Bruce A. Cobb was born June 27, 1949, in Bradford,
11      McKean County.
12            (2)   Private First Class Cobb enlisted in the United
13      States Marine Corps serving with Company I, 3rd Battalion,
14      7th Marine Regiment.
15            (3)   Private First Class Cobb was killed in action on
16      March 25, 1968, in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam.
17            (4)   Private First Class Cobb was awarded several medals
18      during his service and posthumously, including: the Combat
19      Action Ribbon, the Navy Presidential Unit Citation, the
 1      Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Civil Actions Unit
 2      Citation, the National Defense Service Medal, the Republic of
 3      Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit citation, the Republic of
 4      Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Purple Heart.
 5            (5)   Private First Class Cobb is buried in the Willow
 6      Dale Cemetery in Bradford, McKean County.
 7            (6)   Private First Class Cobb's name is enshrined on the
 8      Vietnam War Memorial, in Washington, DC, at Panel 46E, Line
 9      15.
10      (b)   Designation.--The bridge identified as Bridge Key 25405,
11   carrying Pennsylvania Route 346 over Willow Creek in Corydon
12   Township, McKean County, is designated as the Private First
13   Class Bruce A. Cobb Memorial Bridge.
14      (c)   Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
15   maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
16   traffic in both directions on the bridge.
17   Section 2.     Repeals.
18      Repeals are as follows:
19            (1)   The General Assembly declares that the repeal under
20      paragraph (2) is necessary to effectuate section 1.
21            (2)   Section 5 of the act of June 30, 2025 (P.L.36,
22      No.17), is repealed.
23   Section 3.     Effective date.
24      This act shall take effect immediately.
