                                    AN ACT
 1   Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
 2      Statutes, in licensing of drivers, further providing for
 3      issuance and content of driver's license.
 4      The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
 5   hereby enacts as follows:
 6      Section 1.    Section 1510 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
 7   Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
 8   § 1510.    Issuance and content of driver's license.
 9      * * *
10      (b.1)    Identification card renewal fee exemption.--Upon the
11   issuance of an identification card under subsection (b) to a
12   person that is 65 years of age or older who has surrendered
13   their driver's license due to a physical or mental condition, as
14   diagnosed by a health care provider, the department shall exempt
15   the person from any fees required for the renewal of the
16   identification card. The department may require evidence of the
17   person's diagnosis from a health care provider.
