AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, in financial responsibility, further providing for
3 rates.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1799.7 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 1799.7. Rates.
9 * * *
10 (i) Widowed persons.--For any financial responsibility
11 policy written, delivered or renewed on or after the effective
12 date of this subsection, in establishing or maintaining an
13 insured's private passenger motor vehicle rate or classification
14 respecting the operation of a private passenger motor vehicle, a
15 widowed person shall not be treated differently than a person
16 who is married.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.Connected on the graph
