     REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON RULES, FEBRUARY 12, 2025


                                A RESOLUTION
 1   Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to provide
 2      for meeting publications.
 3      RESOLVED, That the Rules of the House of Representatives be
 4   amended by adding a rule to read:
 5                                RULE 79
 6                          Meeting Publications
 7      An in-person or virtual meeting between a member and a
 8   nonconstituent where State law, regulation, legislation or
 9   proposed addition, repeal or amendment to law, regulation or
10   legislation is discussed shall be published on the member's
11   official State website. The following information shall be
12   included in the publication on the member's website:
13      (1)   Date and time of meeting.
14      (2)   Names of all nonconstituents attending the meeting.
15      (3)   Primary organizational affiliations of all
16   nonconstituents attending the meeting.
17      In addition to the provisions of this rule, all provisions of
18   65 Pa.C.S. Ch. 7 (relating to open meetings) shall be followed.
