America's 250th: How long has the US used the phrases ‘In God We Trust’ and ‘Under God’? You know, it's uh just an incredibly exciting time across the country. Uh, here in Arkansas we're doing *** lot of different programs around education. We didn't wanna do just one big thing. We wanted something where every community got to be part of the 250 celebration and so you're gonna see, uh, *** variety of events, but education being *** key piece of that, uh, our state is also participating in the Great American State Fair that will take place in Washington DC where we will set up on the national. Mall, uh, an Arkansas booth where people can come and try foods that are, you know, special and unique to Arkansas as well as experience some of the great things that our state has to offer. It's about *** two week span where we'll have *** team on the ground and just really excited to showcase some of the great things about our state. OK, are we gonna have what is it, chocolate, chocolate, uh, syrup? I think there are *** few different things, you know, um, there is some debate, but *** lot of Arkansan. uh, I strongly believe that cheese dip was invented in Arkansas. Barbecue is obviously *** must, and I think one of the most Arkansas dishes that you could ever have is duck gumbo. So you have rice, you have duck, you have chicken, everything that, uh, Arkansas is known for, you know, when it comes to the food scene, you can have that one dish. So I think we'll have *** variety, but it'll be *** really fun and unique way for us to just show off, um, not just the food, but *** lot of the unique elements of our state.
