*On March 5th, ADLM submitted testimony to the House Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee recommending that Congress provide the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) $10 million for improving pediatric reference intervals (PRIs) and $7.2 million to harmonize clinical laboratory test results in the FY2027 budget. * On March 5th, ADLM and 48 other organizations wrote to House and Senate appropriations seeking $10 million to improve PRIs. ADLM also held a congressional briefing in February urging the including of PRI funding in the FY27 budget (along with funding for newborn screening). * On March 27th, ADLM joined with other healthcare groups in urging Congress to provide $220 million to the National Center for Health Statistics in the FY27 budget. *On March 27th, ADLM joined with other groups in recommending that Congress provide the CDC Public Health Data Modernization program $340 million, the Response Ready Enterprise Integration program $55 million and the Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics $100 million in the FY27 budget.
