Met with appropriations staff in the offices of Senator Charles Schumer, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Congressman Tim Kennedy of New York to present project from Daemen University for Congressionally Directed Spending and Community Project Funding for fiscal year 2027. Met with them on February 3rd in Washington, D.C. offices of these elected officials. Project involved health professions training and research laboratory research facilities. Also did remote Zoom calls with Buffalo staff of Senator Schumer, Senator Gillibrand and Congressman Kennedy on February 26th to educate them on our CDS and CPF project that we discussed with the Washington staff on February 3rd. Submitted required forms to these three Congressional offices, providing information and justification for Daemen Health Science Health Professions AI Technology project that was the focus of lobbying meetings in February.
