Support for FY 2027 funding of: $1.02 billion for the Childrens Hospital Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) Program; $35 million for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), $25 million for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and $1 million for the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to conduct public health research into firearm morbidity and mortality prevention; $7 million in funding for the Pediatric Disaster Care Program within the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR); $24.334 million in funding for the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program; $30. 1 million for the Poison Center Program; $70.66 million for the Community Based Child Abuse Prevention program and within CBCAP $16.25 million for preventing adverse childhood experiences and $3 million for HHSs primary prevention work to prevent child sexual abuse. Congressionally directed spending for $1.937 million for Childrens Behavioral Assessment and multidisciplinary Emergency Response teams.
