Thomas Massie has filed paperwork for 2028.Massie said Monday that he filed with the Federal Election Commission for the 2028 race in Kentucky’s fourth district.Whether or not he chooses to go through with another run for Congress remains up in the air, though, according to Massie.β€œI haven’t made a final decision about which office to seek, if I run,” Massie said in a post to social media on Monday.Massie said filing a statement of candidacy for the 2028 race allows him to continue to raise funds as he continues his political operations, both as a current office holder and a potential candidate for federal office.That statement comes one day after Massie spoke with NBC’s Kristen Welker on Meet the Press, saying he is keeping his options open for future races."I won't rule anything out," said Massie. "I won't rule out a run for county commissioner. I used to be the county judge-executive here. That was probably the best job I ever had in politics. I would encourage people watching this show to act locally and to run for local offices. We can make a difference. There's 3,000 counties in this country. Run for one of those offices.
