Increase R&D for next generation geothermal energy production including the "Supercritical Geothermal Research and Development Act" which directs research, development, demonstration, and commercial application activities at the Department of Energy to support supercritical geothermal and closed loop geothermal systems in supercritical conditions. Promotion of nuclear energy production in the US. Prioritize funding to accelerate the deployment of commercial fusion energy and overall commercialization of fusion energy. Support for bipartisan permitting reform package.
