Met with congressional offices to support FY26 & FY27 appropriations funding at the Department of Interior for the U.S. Geological Survey, specifically for funding development and expansion of the ShakeAlert earthquake early warning (EEW) system. Supported FY26 & FY27 appropriations funding at the Department of Defense for Army Medical research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E). BUD-related legislative efforts, including: - H.R.4754 & S.2431, Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026, provisions related to the USGS ShakeAlert EEW system. - H.R. 4016 & S.2572, Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2026, provisions related to Army Medical RDT&E.
