U.S. Environmental Protection Agencys Proposed Rule for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program: Standards for 2026 and 2027, Partial Waiver of 2025 Cellulosic Biofuel Volume Requirement, and Other Changes (See EPA-HQ-OAR-2024-0505). "Reliable Federal Infrastructure Act" (H.R. 4690):Would prevent the federal government from banning liquid and gas heating fuels in federal buildings by repealing problematic provisions of the Energy Independence and Security Act. "Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve Protection Act" (H.R. 6933): Would require the Secretary of Energy to complete a long-range strategic review of the Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve.
